e-print is located on the ground floor of the Media Block in OM8. A full range of printing services are available in both full colour and mono.

In addition to the services offered at e-print, there are also copier/printers located in all of the Learning Centres where print credits can also be purchased.

Our Nuns Corner campus is also about to see the development of an ultra-modern Sport, Dance & Fitness Centre which will not only be used by our Sports & Sports Academy Students but will also be available to staff, students and community groups. It’s proposed that the new facility will include;

Recognised nationally as some of the best in the country, our computer suites offer you the chance to gain access to the latest in learning technology. When you join the Institute we will create a moodle account for you. Moodle is our virtual learning environment. Moodle is a web based system that provides you with access to study materials and interactivity with your tutors. Moodle is also used by the Institute to keep our learners up-to-date with everything that is happening on campus.

On all our main campuses we offer free wifi to all students - Once you have enrolled you can access GIFHEzone from your wireless device.

We have three interactive Learning Centres across the Institute providing lending, reference and information services and offering you the chance to utilise the latest technologies and study aids. Our Learning Centres are also linked to the British Library, meaning no matter what you need, you will always have access to it.

We have a specialist Art learning Centre at our Westwood Ho campus. Each of our learning centres contains study rooms, which can be booked for learner group work or presentation practice with others from your course. The team within the Learning Centre will also provide you with helpful advice and support on a whole range of learning methods.

The learner common room on the Nuns Corner campus is located just around the corner from the Refectory and near to the Coffee Lounge. Here you can relax with your friends and play a game or pool or table tennis and our Learner Engagement team are always on hand to help you or provide information on a range of activities they are organising.

Our shop offers a wide selection of magazines and newspapers, a text-book ordering service, a range of groceries and confectionary and of course stationery and essential study materials.

Our refectories are the perfect place to relax and unwind, whether you want a quick snack, a healthy lunch or just to catch up with friends. Breakfast is served every weekday from 8.30am until 11am, after this a huge choice foods are available including a range of premium sandwiches, pizzas, salads, paninis, wraps, and jacket potatoes. Our three main campuses in Grimsby each have their own refectories.

The Coffee Lounge on the Nuns Corner campus is a great place to catch-up with friends. We offer a classic barista service at Costa Coffee, with other hot and cold drinks including Costa Tea and Hot Chocolate. From time-to-time you might even catch a live performance from performing arts students here and our Learner Engagement team also provide other activities.
