At the Grimsby Institute we think that it's important that our students have a say in their educational experience.
Our students are given a voice through schemes such as the introduction of Learner Representatives and the coaching and training programme 'Developing the Expert Learner Representative'.

Learner Representatives themselves comment on how the "learner voice is heard and not dismissed" and are encouraged to interact with others, this gives all of our learners someone their own age to talk to and ask for advice when they need it.

The Student Voice at the Grimsby Institute is also heard through high profile activities such as Student Teaching and Learning Conferences and even meetings with the Principal to discuss good aspects of the Institute and even things that the students think should be changed.
