Glenn first started his music study within the Institute when he attended a school link session in 2004, having been inspired by his experience he decided to enrol on the First Diploma Music Performance course. After successfully completing in 2005, he sought to satisfy his interest in studio production and ventured down the music technology route; he successfully completed the course in 2007 with excellent grades and has successively progressed onto the BA Creative Music Degree. Regardless of being severely dyslexic, Glenn remains positive and continuously produces good grades despite being challenged through various areas of his study. This is due to his sheer determination, talent and the help of the Institute’s study support network.
NICK BRUCE

Nick has been studying for his BA Hons in Graphic Design at the Institute for the past two years. He works extremely hard and has achieved great success. Nick recently attained the accolade to be the official designer of the Grimsby Urban Renaissance Logo and feels he wouldn’t have progressed as much without the Institute’s fantastic facilities and enrichment opportunities. On completion of his degree Nick hopes to further a professional career as a graphic designer.

Despite him dying just six months into her studies and her granddad the following September, Rachel graduated with a merit in HND Computing and is now studying for her BSc (Hons) Computing (Top-up).

Described as an “inspiration to all” she said her dad had been the driving force behind her achievements.
