CENK GUNES

Having decided at a young age that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and own his own business, 17-year-old Cenk Gunes enrolled on the BTEC National Diploma in Business. Cenk, now in his final year, is looking forward to going on to study Business at university. He said: "To get to university would be a dream come true for me."

Sophie is currently studying for her A2 levels in Psychology, Sociology and LawSOPHIE BRETT

Sophie is currently studying for her A2 levels in Psychology, Sociology and Law. She is completely committed to her course and works extremely hard, the work she produces is outstanding.
Sophie has recently completed some social work experience at BASS, which was extremely successful. She has matured into a bright and enthusiastic young woman.

JAFFAR SAHLE

Described by his computing tutors as “polite and conscientious”, 19-year-old Jaffar Sahle takes his studies very seriously as he knows when he leaves the Institute he will be the main breadwinner. Having completed his OCR National Level 2 with Distinction he is currently studying BTEC National Certificate for IT Practitioners at level 3. Jaffar, who speaks five languages, is keen to work in the gaming industry.

Jessyka is currently studying for her AS levels in Sociology, Psychology and English Literature. She is known as the 'sunshine' of the class and is always enthusiastic and encouraging others. Jessyka’s personal life is not easy; she is a single mum and also looks after her sick motherJESSYKA TEANBY

Jessyka is currently studying for her AS levels in Sociology, Psychology and English Literature. She is known as the 'sunshine' of the class and is always enthusiastic and encouraging others. Jessyka’s personal life is not easy; she is a single mum and also looks after her sick mother. Before getting her daughter a place at the Institute’s nursery, Jessyka found it extremely difficult finding childcare, but through her sheer determination has never missed any classes and has continually produced excellent work. After completing her course,  Jessyka hopes to further her studies at university to become a social worker or a teacher
