East Coast Media is one of the most advanced media training facilities in the country. With purpose-built studios and mobile media units, what more could you ask for? 

Grimsby is a bustling town with plenty going on so you will never be short of things to film, photograph or write about. 

From basic courses to more advanced specialist subjects you will gain an excellent insight into the media industry and be able to try everything from using DV cameras to state-of-the-art editing systems.

  • Level 3
  • National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Media (Photography)
  • Duration: The course is full time.
    The National Award lasts 1 year. Pending successful completion of the Award, learners will move onto the National Certificate which will be completed by Christmas within the second year. Following successful completion of the Certificate learners may be allowed to progress on to the National Diploma which will finish in June of the second year.

  • Duration: The course is full time with delivery at the East Coast Media Centre (Nuns Corner).

  • National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Media (Print and Publishing)
  • Duration: The course is full time with delivery at the East Coast Media Centre (Nuns Corner).
    The National Award lasts 1 year. Pending successful completion of the Award, learners will move onto the National Certificate which will be completed by Christmas within the second year. Following successful completion of the Certificate learners may be allowed to progress on to the National Diploma which will finish in June of the second year.

  • Duration: The course is full time with delivery at the East Coast Media Centre (Nuns Corner).
    The course is run over two years (16 hours a week for 36 weeks).
