From Humberside Airport
Humberside is the closest airport to the Institute (approximately 20 minutes drive). You can reach worldwide locations via Amsterdam.From Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport has a direct rail connection with Grimsby Town. (2 hours 30 minutes journey time).From Heathrow Airport
Heathrow Airport has a London Underground rail connection called the Piccadilly Line which is dark blue on the underground map and it will take you directly to London Kings Cross Station (35 minutes). At Kings Cross, change to above ground mainline trains.Trains to Grimsby leave approximately
every hour (2 hours 20 minute journey time).
From Gatwick AirportGatwick Airport has a rail connection direct to London Victoria Station (50 minutes). At Victoria Station change on to the underground rail system andtake the Victoria Line to Kings Cross Station (10 minutes) which is pale blue on the underground map. At Kings Cross, change to above ground mainline trains. Trains to Grimsby leave approximately every hour (2 hours 20 minute journey time). By RailThe Grimsby Town Railway Station, located in the centre of the town has regular rail services to all points in the United Kingdom. Long distance rail travel can be quite expensive but by booking your ticket ahead of time, significant savings can be made.If you are arriving in the United Kingdom at Heathrow, Gatwick or Manchester Airports there are rail services at each of the airports allowing you to travel to Grimsby Town via Doncaster. By CarDriving to Grimsby is easy with our great connections to the UK motorway network.Driving from the North & WestApproach Grimsby via the A180, turning off at the junction sign posted Great Coates. Continue over two roundabouts following the signs for Great Coates and Grimsby and then turn left at the third roundabout. Proceed through a set of traffic lights after which there is a church on the left hand side. At the next roundabout, with "The Trawl" Public House opposite, take the right-hand lane and turn right into Little Coates Road. At the first mini-roundabout, turn left into Cambridge Road. Continue to a second mini-roundabout and proceed directly across. Continue along Westward Ho to a set of traffic lights.Turn right into Bargate, staying in the right-hand lane. After approximately three hundred yards, and immediately before a further set of traffic lights, turn right into the institute's main entrance. Driving from the South and LincolnApproaching via the A46. After Caistor a roundabout is approached. Continue straight across this roundabout following the signs for Grimsby. Proceed directly over a second roundabout, with a Morrisons Supermarket on the left-hand side and then over a third roundabout, continuing to follow thesigns for Grimsby. Continue along Laceby Road until the road divides in two, taking the left-hand lane. The turning for Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education is on the left-hand side.
