In 2007, I graduated with good honours in the University of Hull Business degree studied at the Grimsby Institute.

I have since then studied another business related programme at a city university in the UK.

What I can say in terms of comparison is that the amount of support you receive at the Grimsby Institute is far greater than that at the city universities.

The small seminar discussion groups at Grimsby Institute means there is much more scope for question and answer and advice on topics than is the case at the city universities.

The big main difference is that, unlike at the city universities, the lecturers at the Grimsby Institute are much easier to find and to talk to outside of class time, in their offices. If you have confusions about a topic they are happy to give you individual support at this time, and if you want to show them a piece of work in progress, they will advise you on the direction you are going and give you suggestions on how to make it better.

My clear advice is – if you want the best chance to get a high grade in your degree studies in the UK – the Grimsby Institute is the place you should choose – and stick to.
