Free training is available?
Many of our adult courses are available for free or are heavily subsidised*, and as part of our commitment to our learners we have made all the courses are now VAT free, saving you 20% off your studies.

Our fees vary depending on the type and length of the course, please contact our Information Centre on 0800 315 002 or email infocent@grimsby.ac.uk for individual course prices.

Some courses may have additional costs to cover materials. Any equipment or material costs will be drawn to your attention at the time of enrolment. Every attempt is made to keep the additional costs down and in most cases there is no extra charge.

Free and subsidised training
Depending on your individual circumstances you may be eligible for free or heavily subsidised training through support from the government. You can find out more here.

How to pay
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit or debit card.

Can I pay in instalments?
Learners paying tuition fees of between £50 and £100 can split the cost of payments over two instalments (50% upfront). Learners paying tuition fees of more than £100 can pay in four monthly instalments, via direct debit, with 25% paid upfront.

Can I get help with paying for my fees?
Depending on your circumstances your fees may be reduced. Financial help can come from the Institute's Support Funds, which may be able to help with:

• Tuition and exam fees (except courses with an 'N' in the Fee Remission column)
• Registered childcare
• Essential course equipment
• Home-to-Institute transport

Do I need to bring anything with me to enrol?
You will need to bring some form of payment and proof of benefits if you think you may be entitled to free tuition.
