The Institute provides excellent Further and Higher education courses in a well-equipped and well-resourced Institute. Our higher education students study within our University Centre, which is part of our main campus in Grimsby.

The Institute prides itself on the quality of provision on offer which has seen many awards and accolades from various organisations among which are:

• Five Centres of Vocational Excellence (COVES), a prestigious status awarded by the Learning and Skills Council, in the areas of Media, Food Manufacturing, Gas and Plumbing, Autotronics, and Ports and Logistics.
• The Matrix award for Information, Advice and Guidance
• A Microsoft Academy and an Oracle Academy within its Humber Business School
• The Football Development Centre at the Institute has claimed membership of a new national elite by winning the much-coveted accolade of FA Charter Standard status.
• The Institute has its own TV production studios (Immage) and students who are studying media courses will have access to this facility.

English support is available for all students who have first languages other than English, whatever your course.
