What is Investors in Diversity (IiD)
Investors in Diversity is a new standard which helps organisations adopt and develop a set of characteristics and behaviours, which if embraced, can lead to real and sustainable gains through culture movement in organisations. It also enables organisations to measure their progress as well and receive recognition for their achievements.The Aim of IiD
To support and enable organisations to adopt, develop and benchmark behaviours and practices which promote inclusion, equality, diversity and achievement. The Objectives of IiD- Support candidate organisations that are committed to inclusion and development of all their stakeholders.
- Assist candidate organisations in engaging in processes to improve their learning about their stakeholders.
- Support candidate organisations in their development towards a more inclusive and adaptive organisational culture and environment.
- Help candidate organisations to measure their success.
- Provide accreditation to achieving candidate organisations.

Committing
The IiD Candidate Organisation is working towards creating or developing a truly inclusive organisational culture in which diversity is genuinely valued.Learning
- The IiD Candidate Organisation develops as a learning organisation which continuously and proactively self assesses. It is able to plan and adapt in order to improve how it manages diversity.
- All are encouraged to improve their own and other people’s diversity related awareness/ knowledge and skills
Developing
- The IiD Candidate Organisation is becoming more proactive in developing and sustaining the diversity of its workforce.
- Through the provision of support and services the IiD Candidate Organisation promotes diversity within itself.
- The IiD Candidate Organisation seeks to influence its wider partners to be positive about diversity.
Improving
The IiD Candidate Organisation adopts or creates a range self assessment measures to assess development, new opportunities, the extent of culture shift and any improvement in the feeling of ‘inner well being’ within the IiD Candidate Organisation.For further information please contact us at the following address:
