HATE CRIME REPORTING
Andy Pagram, Hate Crime coordinator  for Humberside Police states that Humberside Police will not tolerate any form of hate crime. We are committed to ensuring the safety of the community regardless of their race, beliefs, immigration status, sexual orientation or culture.

Each police area has a Community Cohesion Officer who works closely with our Hate Crime Coordinator, the community and other agencies in their locality to encourage the reporting of hate crime and to ensure victims are treated sensitively.   Caroline Spence is the Community Cohesion Officer for  Humberside Police in North East Lincolnshire and can be contacted on 01472 204053.

Community members can speak to local officers in the strictest of confidence and all subsequent action will be taken with their interests in mind and with their consent.

This growing confidence in the police's approach to hate crime has lead to people feeling more confident in reporting incidents that may have previously gone unreported.
