Higher Education Work Based and Learning, The Role of The Employer

During the period while students are on placement, each student will be visited twice while being at their placement setting this will be completed by a member of the Institute staff who will be acting as their Tutor or Placement Officer.

Work Based & Learning, The Role of The Employer

  • To contribute to undergraduate learning so as to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills which are of value to the employer.
  • To enhance the links between the Institute and employers to the potential benefit of both.
  • To provide a placement opportunity for an individual who will contribute to the effectiveness of the organisation
Visit Information For Employers:
During the period while students are on placement, each student will be visited twice while being at their placement setting this will be completed by a member of the Institute staff who will be acting as their Tutor or Placement Officer. During these visits the tutor will want to spend about 20/30 minutes talking with you and the student about aims and development.
