This programme is for sixth form leavers or students who wish to pursue their studies to degree level and can be studied on a full or part-time basis.

Studying for an English Studies Degree at The Grimsby Institute opens up a wide variety of different career possibilities, for example in publishing, journalism, marketing and arts administration.
As well as examining the written and spoken word, there are opportunities for analytical thinking and problem solving with a strong emphasis on accuracy, presentation and communication plus the ability to be articulate - all skills which are highly desirable in today's job markets.

Many further areas of study are open to English graduates, for example law and teaching, even accountancy.
The result is that this degree presents a wide range of exciting options for the future as well as providing students with a rich education focused on developing the key skills that are in demand today.
