Foundation - Certificate HACCP Principles

Duration: One day course.


HACCP is a management system required by business to demonstrate effective control of food safety. HACCP is the identification of potential hazards within the production of food for sale.
This course is relevant and ideally suited to those who work in any aspect of food production, which is then sold.

There are no entry requirements.

What you learn

How to identify potential problems when preparing and cooking food for sale. This will include suppliers, storage, transfer, preparation, cooking, presentation and storage after production.
During the course of the day you will practice HACCP Principles.


What next?

With this qualification you could implement HACCP within your organisation or progress onto the Intermediate Certificate.
Career options include manufacturing, contract catering, hotels, restaurants etc, either as a chef or catering supervisor.

Multi choice 1 hour exam paper.
