Level 4 - NVQ Administration (Workplace)
Duration: Assessment in the workplace, supported by independent study.
There is no fixed time limit for completion of the course, however, candidates are expected to achieve within two years.
This course is suitable for anyone working at a senior administration level with considerable responsibility for the management of systems and resources, working with an extensive degree of autonomy. The aim is to ensure theoretical underpinning knowledge to competently fulfil job role and to provide a qualification to accredit existing skills.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, students must satisfy The Institute that their standard of education and ability is such as to enable them to profit from and successfully complete the course. Students will be selected for the course by interview and must have appropriate current employment.What you learn
Candidates will be working towards an OCR NVQ4 - consisting of the following 2 mandatory units:Carry out your responsibilities
Work within your business environment
Plus 4 from a range of 18 optional units e.g.
Chair Meetings
Create and manage information systems
Recruit, select and keep colleagues
Manage an office facility
To achieve a level 4 qualification you must complete 6 units including the two mandatory core units and at least 3 units must be chosen from group B.
