Level 2 - NVQ Administration (Workplace Assessment)
Duration: The start date and duration for this course is flexible.
The aims of the course are to develop in the student/trainees, occupational competence in the tasks commonly undertaken by clerks, receptionists, audio typists and others who are expected to take responsibility for routine office jobs. Achieved in the workplace.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.However, candidates must satisfty the Institute that their standard of education and ability is such as to enable them to profit from and successfully complete the course.
Candidates will be selected for the course by interview and must have appropriate current employment.
What you learn
Students will study the following 2 mandatory NVQ units:Carry out your responsibilities at work
Work within your business environment
Plus 3 from a range of 23 optional units.
Use Office equipment
Use Word processing software
Produce documents
To achieve a level 2 qualification you must complete 5 units including the two mandatory core units.
What next?
Level 3 NVQ Administration and/or enhance your skills with a Certificate in Text Processing at an appropriate level.Career opportunities include: Receptionist, general office clerk, administration assistant.
