Parents

As students at the Grimsby Institute, your children are a part of a caring community determined to give each student a chance to succeed. We have a range of resources available to support our students, no matter what their study programme is.

Learner Advisors support students through the challenges faced during their time at the Institute and help improve attendance and retention, support includes attendance tracking and student advice regarding such things as finances.

Money is usually an issue with students and parents and we offer a range of financial services to enable you and your child to make the most of their studies with us. Depending on your child’s circumstances, we may be able to help with expenses and also areas like childcare fees and transport costs. Talk to our Learner Advisors about what help may be available.

The Institute provides our students with access to health and wellbeing advisors such as, trained counsellors, career advisors and we also regularly invite professional nursing staff on campus.

Rest assured - The Grimsby Institute believes in guiding our student’s from beginning to end, encouraging and advising in all aspects of their student life.
