Taster programmes

How about getting a taste of the course you are interested in, before you leave school? That way if you don’t like what you see you can always decide on another subject, or try another taster session, before you actually enrol onto a course. Easy!

As a year ten student you can apply, with permission from your school, for the subject taster sessions. As well as giving you an exciting insight into our different courses and subject areas, attending one of these sessions will give you the chance to meet other students and members of staff so you can find out for yourself what its really like to be a student at the Institute!

The sessions are during the school year so ask your teacher about when they are happening and tell them that you are interested. The application part is easy. All you have to do is get an application form from your careers teacher at school, fill it in and we will do the rest.

Taster sessions are really interesting and great fun and help you to get a real taste of student life. We hope to see you soon!
